Deborah has more than 25 years experience as a generalist senior manager and consultant working with small business, Local Government and the community sector. Her specialty is helping businesses through organisational change and achieving practical outcomes.
As a ‘bizologist’, she has a ‘hands on’ approach and a strong commitment to developing individuals and organisations.
Deborah's early management experience included seven years as a senior Local Government manager with the City of Adelaide. She was the first woman and youngest person in the history of the City of Adelaide to hold such a position. Her earlier consultancy, Deborah Floyd and Associates, specialised in improvements to organisational structure, operations and efficiency.
After providing consulting services to Accumulus Financial Planners, Deborah was convinced to join them as their Business Manager, where she worked for five years. Next while working with Prescott Consultants Ltd, Deborah brought three successful Adelaide companies (including Accumulus) together to trade as one, under the same roof. Deborah then joined Sheppard Consulting Group as Business Manager until the company was purchased by Lee Hecht Harrison, during which period she ensured a smooth business transition including re-branding, new premises and new technology.
These employment opportunities strengthened Deborah's passion for working with small business entrepreneurs and in 2004 she began consulting once more and soon after created bizology.

With over 25 years experience either owning or working with small business, Bob’s specialty is his keen sense of the small business life cycle and helping business owners get on with the job.
Bob’s early career included sales, supervisory and management roles in service companies such as Budget RentaCar and McDonalds and a career track management position at GH Michell & Sons.
He then established his own successful small business, Dudley Car Detailers, which he ran for 12 years. Bob set the business up from scratch, from sales and customer service through to all financial and human resource management for the employment of five staff. He sold the business as a successful and financially viable concern.
Bob is also a qualified audio engineer. He combined his business and audio skills as business manager for Allpro Audio, managing all administrative and management aspects of the company as well as a high-end audio retail shop. Bob worked with high profile clients including Adelaide Festival and Fringe, Womadelaide and the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra.
In 2005, Bob and Deborah teamed together to create bizology, with AllPro Audio becoming one of Bob’s clients.
